The Bush Pilots 20th Anniversary Show! + Slo Tom

Rainbow Bistro, 76 Murray Street/ Byward Market, Ottawa, Ontario

The Bushpilots bring with them the promise of an evening of high energy rock n roll to the Rainbow stage. You want to party and dance until your feet bleed? This will be your night! The Bushpilots, a group of talented and seasoned music veterans, are a cornerstone of the Ottawa roots rock scene with four appearances at RBC Ottawa Bluesfest under their belt, along with countless rollicking club and theatre appearances. Occupying a music space somewhere between Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, The Rolling Stones, Neil Young and Crazy Horse with a dash of Wilco and The Band thrown in for good measure, The Bushpilots have long been a Rainbow favourite, performing some of their first gigs in the room over twenty years ago. These are also the same guys who make up Stones cover band beyond compare, The Ya-Ya's, and brought a celebration of The Band's Last Waltz to The Rainbow stage on three occasions.
The group released their sixth album, 'Kings of Mustang', at The Rainbow last fall, a record that was the #2 album of 2023 on Ottawa's CKCU-FM album charts. Opening the show will a solo performance by that one man party, singer/songwriter Slo' Tom, another Ottawa music veteran who just released his acclaimed new album with his band Slo' Tom and the Handsome Devils, 'Doing Hard Time'. And speaking of a good time, expect not just one, but several guest appearances from the incomparable Miss Maureen, lead singer of GOOD2GO. Please join us for this unforgettable high octane rock n roll party!
