JOSEPHINE LEONE wsg Edison Rupert + Sofia Duhaime

The Rainbow Bistro, 76 Murray Street, Ottawa/ Byward Market

JΘSΞPHINΞ LEΦNE - Ottawa rock band Josephine Leone is back at the Rainbow, this time for an intimate performance with her acoustic trio. In contrast to their full-band electric sound, this event is purposed to showcase the acoustic transposition of their music for a unique and heartfelt performance. Expect the same raw and gritty vocals from JL - over rich acoustic guitars, groovy riffs, and lots of percussion. Supported by two impressive local talents: Edison Rupert and Sofia Duhaime.

Edison Rupert - Edison Rupert is a new musical artist from Ottawa, Canada who has quickly garnered some local attention with his second self produced single “Ticket to a Place”. Edison recently won the 2022 Capital Music Awards - newcomer of the year award, has also been featured on CTV Morning Live and Rogers Daytime Ottawa, as well as several blogs featuring independent artists, and some regional radio play.

Sofia Duhaime - Sofia Duhaime is a 20 year old singer-songwriter from the Ottawa/Gatineau region. Inspired by the icons of folk and French pop, her powerful voice and vulnerable lyrics create a warm and energetic atmosphere. In 2022, Sofia released her debut EP “L’enfant”, a folk-rock record featuring both French and English songs.
