SCHOOL HOUSE School House is an indie trio from Ottawa, Canada that combines acoustic elements with contemporary melodies to produce a unique blend of folk, pop, and rock. After moving in together and finding a box of old clothes and newspaper clippings in the attic, the three friends discovered that their new home was in fact a 100+ year old school house — inspiring the name. The building has become the inspirational epicentre of their music as they write, record, and produce everything within its four walls. Driven by a desire to tell compelling stories, their songs combine feelings of nostalgia and daily conflicts to bring a wise, yet youthful perspective to the Canadian folk scene. The band is excited to release their debut album in the spring of 2023.
