Rainbow Bistro, 76 Murray Street/ Byward Market, Ottawa, Ont.
The Bushpilots, now entering their third decade, are celebrating the long awaited release of their sixth album ‘KINGS OF MUSTANG’, the most ambitious and diverse offering yet from their already overflowing musical catalogue. The Bushpilots are a cornerstone of the Ottawa roots rock scene with four appearances at RBC Ottawa Bluesfest under their belt, along with countless rollicking club and theatre appearances. Occupying a music space somewhere between Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, The Rolling Stones, Neil Young and Crazy Horse with a dash of Wilco and The Band thrown in for good measure, The Bushpilots will be featuring brand new material from ‘Kings of Mustang’ along with a healthy dose of some of the best songs from their two decade career. Opening the show will be the Keith Glass Band. Singer/songwriter Keith Glass is a legend in roots/Americana music circles, having spent decades as the guitarist in the six time Juno award winning group Prairie Oyster. The band released their second album ‘Different World’ in 2022. Doors at 8, show time at 830. $20 plus HST advance, $25 at the door.
