Kestrel Blue is an Ottawa-based alternative act formed by singer-songwriter Michael Robert Lisinski. Each song Kestrel Blue performs is deliberately written to be adaptable to solo or full-band setups, meaning that Kestrel Blue shows range from intimate and sensitive solo shows to raucous and energetic full-band performances. Wresting jazz, college rock, and garage rock together with reflective and philosophical lyrics, Kestrel Blue is an idiosyncratic and ever-adaptable ongoing project.
