Dom Doyon ,+ Loch Nisse Monster + Abby M Boquet Live at the Rainbow

Friday, April 4, 2025 @ 8:00PMFri, Apr 4, 2025 @ 8:00PM

Rainbow Bistro, 76 Murray Street/ Byward Market, Ottawa, Ontario

A Friday in April brings you Dom Doyon, Loch Nisse Monster, and Abby M Boquet playing live at the Rainbow. Join us for a both somatic and cerebral night of indie-folk-rock that will stay with you long after the evening has been joyfully spent.

Dom Doyon & Band: Dom Doyon is a singer-songwriter from Ottawa, drawing influence from the class of John Frusciante, Oasis, Elliott Smith, and Brian Eno. Known for emotional, folk-y songs, Doyon released the two singles Look Twice and Your Crooked Frame to appreciative fans this past December. Dom is also recognized for his bass playing and stage-gracing in Ottawa-based rock band Out By Lucy.

Loch Nisse Monster: Loch Nisse Monster originated from the swamps of a 70's-themed house party, where the singer-songwriter was told that her name sounded like that of the famous Scottish monster. Performing mostly folk-rock music solo and with an ensemble or band, the 20-year-old is rising to local recognition, playing venues across Ontario and Quebec. She has been featured on Alan Neal’s CBC program and is a favourite on CKCU radio. Nisse has also performed in festivals such as the Ottawa Bagelshop Musicfest, Songs from the Shed, Wellington West Sundays, and Spectrasonic’s Under the Stars, and opened for known acts such as Camp Saint Helene, Sister Wife Sex Strike, and Nate Silva. Loch Nisse Monster has released four singles to date, most recently being Saint Valentine’s Day this February, and has more in the works…
