Sunday June 14 8pm Loch Nisse Monster is an Ottawa-based folk-rock artist whose work blends storytelling and atmosphere into a distinctive musical voice. Drawing on influences from folk traditions, retro rock, and contemporary singer-songwriters, the project is defined by intimate and witty lyricism, textured arrangements, and commitment to a heartwarming time. Since debuting in 2023, Loch Nisse Monster has steadily built momentum through compelling live performances at venues across Ontario and Quebec and become a staple in the local festival network. Her music explores themes of place, identity, and nostalgia, offering listeners a sound rooted in sincerity and emotional clarity. Each performance is crafted to feel immersive and personal, inviting audiences into a shared storytelling space energized with melodic rock.

Loch Nisse Monster’s debut album was released in 2025, and is available for streaming on all platforms. Titled Forensis, the project is the concept record of a crime scene as a metaphor for a breakup.

Runaway Kit is an Ottawa based alternative rock band blending driving guitars, dynamic keys, and a distinctive saxophone edge into a high energy, emotionally driven sound. Fronted by powerful female vocals, the band draws influence from artists like Blondie, Metric, and No Doubt, combining pop rock sensibilities with a modern alternative sound.

Formed in 2024, the band quickly built momentum through live performances across the Ottawa scene. Their debut single Wired World, released April 18, 2026, marks the band’s first studio release and introduces their energetic, hook driven sound.

The band consists of Tiffany Schilkie (lead vocals & guitar), Noémie Bergeron (keys & backing vocals), Kyle Kierstead (bass), Duncan Fyffe (saxophone) and Martin Chiasson (drums). Their music explores themes of identity, escape, and modern life.

GRFN is an American/Canadian Indie Pop band based in Ottawa. Formed in 2021, the 5-piece group brings a wide variety of memorable songs from acoustic ballads to rock hits that’ll get you on your feet! GRFN brings together motifs of space, staring out the car window, and braving this world together to the forefront of their music, showing that the unknown can be beautiful too.
